Where does the tour depart from?

All our sightseeing tours depart from Riddarholmen — right in the heart of central Stockholm. It's a short walk from Gamla Stan, T-Centralen and Slussen, and easy to reach on foot from most central hotels.

How long does the Mälaren sightseeing cruise last?

Our standard guided sightseeing tour is around 2 hours. Private group tours can be tailored — anywhere from a 2-hour highlights cruise to a relaxed 6-hour outing on the lake.

Is the boat family-friendly?

Yes — completely. M/S Hamnskär has a heated indoor salon, an open upper deck for the views, an accessible toilet on board and plenty of room for strollers. Kids are very welcome and we keep things calm and relaxed.

Is the tour guided in English?

Yes, all our public sightseeing tours are guided in English by Captain Michael. For private group tours we can also arrange Swedish guiding on request — just let us know when you book.

Stockholm rain is rarely a problem — the boat has a fully heated and covered indoor salon with great views through the windows. In the very rare case of dangerous weather we'll reschedule or refund. No risk to you.
